A Gift To Dance is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to nurturing, empowering, and uplifting dancers and worship dance ministries globally. Our mission is to serve as the premier hub for fostering talent and fostering a culture of growth.

We aim to achieve this by offering comprehensive dance and technique training for individuals of all ages, alongside a range of outreach initiatives focusing on dance education, wellness, community integration, self-esteem enhancement, and support for homeless women, as well as providing physical therapy for children with autism.

In addition to our ongoing programs, A Gift To Dance proudly hosts quarterly workshops, an annual conference, captivating productions, and various engaging events. Our commitment is to set the standard for excellence and provide a dynamic platform for dancers and worship dance ministries to flourish.

Minister ShaQuann L. Harris stands as the visionary force behind A Gift To Dance, a profound organization dedicated to the global education, empowerment, and spiritual upliftment of dancers and worship dance ministries. Hailing from the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, ShaQuann's journey in dance commenced at the tender age of four, honing her skills in jazz, modern, African, contemporary, and liturgical dance forms.

With over 18 years of unwavering commitment to ministry, ShaQuann has been entrusted with remarkable opportunities to lead and inspire fellow dancers. Her impactful work spans from mentoring children in after-school programs across Atlanta, East Point, and College Park, Georgia, to serving as the Co-Director of the dance ministry at Changing A Generation FGBC and as the former Georgia State Director of Dance for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Int’l.

ShaQuann's influence extends far beyond her local community, as she has played an instrumental role in nurturing and advising various dance ministries in Georgia, leaving an indelible mark through her choreography and guidance. Her literary contribution, 'A Gift To Dance: Cultivating Your Ministry,' stands as a beacon of wisdom and insight for aspiring dancers worldwide.

An ardent advocate for authentic ministry, ShaQuann annually hosts the prestigious A Gift To Dance Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, fostering invaluable connections and collaborations within the dance ministry realm across states and nations. Her impactful ministry has seen her share stages with esteemed figures such as Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr., Dr. Jamal-Harrison Bryant, and Pastor Mark Moore, Jr., among others.

With a solid academic background, ShaQuann pursued a dual course of study in Business Administration and Dance and Movement Studies at Emory University, equipping herself with a holistic understanding of both the administrative and creative facets of dance ministry.

ShaQuann's unwavering conviction is to transcend mere performance and entertainment, striving to create sacred spaces where spiritual breakthroughs occur, and the glory of God is exalted above all else. Her ultimate goal is to empower individuals to embrace their divine callings, transcending the realm of dance into profound ministry experiences that touch hearts and transform lives.
